Chelsea defender John Terry, speaking to Sky Sports: "We showed a lot of character, and created a lot of chances. We spent a good couple of days working on their strengths and weaknesses - that is typical Jose Mourinho.
"We have a couple of games at home now to kick on. We must win them as we dropped points against West Ham last week.
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was very hard, because Manchester City are a very good team. We have to continue to play like this.
"The team is younger than when I was first here. We can improve now as the players are young."
